Miami-born Melinda Martinez trained at the acclaimed Aveda Institute in Soho, New York, and quickly developed an impressive clientele with her signature hair styles and aesthetics. Keeping the client's vision in mind, she delivers easy to maintain designs without sparing style. "Understanding and listening to my clients is as important as the work I do," Martinez said. With nearly a decade of hair and make-up experience, Martinez has worked for Maybelline, NYX Cosmetics, IT Cosmetics and Garnier for such events as: Fashion's Night Out, NY Fashion Week, ELLE magazine's Fashion Next, People en Espanol's 50 Most Beautiful. Her work has extended beyond live events and editorial to television where she has done hair and makeup for: New York's PIX 11 personality Lisa Matteo, America's Next Top Model winner Jaslene Gonzalez and E! Television's Debbie Matenopoulos.
